Exercise II
Change the sentences to use the structures ‘have
someone do something & have something done’ or ‘get someone to do
something & get something done’. Each one starts with ‘I’.

I had the secretary type
the report;
or
I had the report typed.

assistant gave me a discount. (get)

8. 18. The shop
delivered the food. (have)
I had the shop deliver the
food;
or
I had the food delivered.
9. 19. The children
did their homework. (get)
